Welcome to Barrier Island Goldens, a family-run Golden Retriever breeder on Florida’s beautiful Space Coast! Our home is overflowing with love, and we raise our Goldens right alongside our children as part of the family. For us, breeding Golden Retrievers isn’t just a hobby – it’s a family adventure and a labor of love. We believe that puppies raised in a home filled with warmth and laughter grow into the happiest, most loving dogs.

At the heart of Barrier Island Goldens is Red Pepper’s Rising Sky, AKA Pepper Potts, our beautiful mama-to-be (and the superhero of our family!). Pepper is calm, gentle, and incredibly well-behaved – no surprise since she’s a certified service dog with a heart of gold. She adores our kids and greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail and a snuggle. We just know she’ll be an amazing mother when the time comes.

We’re beyond excited to announce that she is due with her first litter around September 24th, 2025.

Our whole family is preparing to shower these future puppies with love, gentle guidance, and plenty of playtime. From day one, each little golden will be raised in the middle of our happy home – picture kids’ giggles, tiny paws scampering around, and lots of cuddles. It’s all part of making sure they grow up confident, friendly, and ready to bring joy to their new families.

At the end of the day, our goal is to spread the golden love that fills our home to families like yours. We can’t wait to see Pepper’s puppies light up the lives of their forever families in and around the Space Coast – and to welcome you into the Barrier Island Goldens family!
